Preschool Programs
The Preschool Ministry is committed to the belief that even the youngest of babies can develop an awareness of God’s love. We want to encourage and help you lay a strong spiritual foundation for your child’s life. We help families lay a spiritual foundation so that every child is nurtured into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We focus on making your child's experience a positive and safe one. We include lots of hugs, very simple Bible stories, songs, and supervised play.
Safety/Check-In Procedures
Our check-in system assures the safety of preschoolers:
- Parents will be required to check-in their children at the Early Education Center.
- Parents will be directed to follow specific safety and security procedures in order to pick up children and to provide information for emergency purposes.
- If you have questions, please contact the Preschool Ministry at 336-6172.
When Bringing a Baby or Preschooler:
The following information is provided to assure you of your baby’s well-being while left in the care of the Preschool Ministry. You may locate the preschool area by visiting the Welcome Center or by asking ushers/greeters located throughout the building.
- Please sign your child in according to the security procedures listed above.
- Please label all items such as diaper bags, baby seats, bottles, blankets, coats, pacifiers, etc., with your child’s name.
- A mother’s room is available in the Early Education Center.
Preschool Health and Safety Guidelines
To provide the safest and healthiest environment possible, we follow these hygiene practices:
- Cribs and toys are cleaned with disinfectant before, during and after each session.
- An ill child will not be permitted to stay in the Early Education Center. This is for the safety of the ill child as well as for the healthy children. If symptoms of illness are observed upon arrival, the child will be sent home. If symptoms develop while at church, the child will be isolated and a parent will be notified.
- A child with symptoms of illness within the past 24 hours should be kept home for his/her comfort as well as for the health of other children. A child should NOT be brought if he/she:
- Has had fever, vomiting or diarrhea in the past 24 hours
- Has a sore throat
- Has a rash or skin eruption
- Has inflammation of the eyelids
- Has head lice
- Is fussy, cranky or generally not him/herself
