Kids Korner Preschool
Our Program
The Kids Korner Weekday Preschool provides a program of classes for children three years of age (as of September 1 and potty trained) through Pre-K.
Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
The cost is $125 per month plus a $30 non-refundable enrollment fee.
Enrollment is first offered to children of members of First Baptist Church and children currently enrolled in our Weekday Programs.
The Kids Korner Weekday Preschool Program is a member of the Oklahoma Baptist Church Weekday Education Association. The Preschool is administered by the Director who reports to the Education Minister. Each member of the teaching staff is a competent, understanding, individual with the experience, knowledge and love essential in teaching young children.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Kids Korner Weekday Preschool is to provide care, education and developmental opportunities for children in order that they may achieve their greatest potential spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally and socially. Our intent is to build upon the developmental foundations of trust, independence and initiative so that each child will feel good about himself and his world.
Our Curriculum
We use Wee-Lean curriculum which is an age appropriate developmentally based curriculum that provides a teaching theme for each week. Around the topics, teachers organize Bible stories and verses, hands-on activities, play and other developmental learning opportunities.
Our Facilities
Our Preschool is located in the Early Education Center of First Baptist Church. Our rooms are arranged into play-learning centers where children can make choices for individual and small group activities.
We have two playgrounds. One is located in an outside, enclosed area and another located in an open indoor area. Both are large, clean and furnished with safe, modern equipment.
