4 on 4 Recreational Basketball

Our Men’s 4 on 4 league will usually be offered in the spring or summer. Each team may have up to 8 players on their roster with a cost of $15 dollars per player. Players may not be added after the season begins unless approved by the league director. Regular season play usually lasts for 8 weeks followed by a post season, single elimination tournament that all teams make. Players in this league are expected to call their own fouls, and keep themselves under control at all times. There will be a short devotion at the half-time of each game.

Community Recreational Volleyball

Our community recreational volleyball league will usually be offered in the spring or summer. Each team may have between 6 to 10 players on their roster with a cost of $15 dollars per player. Players may not be added after the season begins unless approved by the league director. Regular season play usually lasts for 8 weeks followed by a post season single elimination tournament that all teams make.

Men’s Noon Basketball

Our noon basketball program takes place Monday through Thursday each week from 12:00 until 2:00 pm. This program is open to all players who have graduated from high school or have been given permission by our program director to play. There is a 15 minute devotion given at 1:00 pm that all players are encouraged to attend. Players are responsible for their conduct at all times. Any misconduct will lead to a suspension from the program. Players will not be invited to return until they have met with the program director.

5 on 5 Competitive Basketball

Our Men’s and Women’s competitive basketball leagues will usually take place in the summer or fall. Teams may have up to 10 players on their roster with a cost of $200 dollars per team. The cost of this league is subject to change depending on the cost of referees. Players may not be added after the season begins unless approved by the league director. Regular season play usually lasts for 8 weeks followed by a post season, single elimination tournament that all teams make. There will be one referee for each regular season game that is played, and two for the final post season game. There will be no tolerance for foul language or for any other unsportsmanlike like conduct. Players in this league are expected to keep themselves under control at all times. Referees are the final authority on game nights and may ask a player to leave the building if a conflict should arise. There will be a short devotion at the half-time of each game.

FBC Sunday School Fellowship Volleyball

The purpose of this league is to mix our age groups and allow our church members to get to know one another while playing volleyball and other games. This league usually takes place in the Spring and lasts for 10 weeks. Points can be earned by winning games, but the majority of the points can be earned by getting the most people to show up and participate. Each Sunday school department is a team and will be scheduled to meet with other departments for this time of fun and fellowship. First is Family Here at First Baptist and this is a wonderful way for our family to get to know one another and build healthy relationships. You can sign up for this by visiting your Sunday school department.

Evening Pick-Up Volleyball

During various times of the year we may schedule pick-up basketball games for anyone who wishes to participate.  We will have two courts available; one for recreational play and one for more competitive play. There is no sign-up or cost for this activity, just come ready to play.  There will be a short devotion to start or end the time of play. All participants are expected to play in a friendly manner. Players are responsible for their conduct at all times. Any misconduct will lead to a suspension from the program. Players will not be invited to return until they have met with the program director.
